◆平等は、死ぬことで達成される、死をもって全ての人々は平等になる
  • 解釈：絞首刑は皆平等だ。死刑囚は、全て同じ方法で処刑される。
  • Literal：The equality is accomplished by dying. With death, all people become equal.
  • Interpretation：All the hanging is equal. The condemned criminal is executed all by the same method.

  • 神の前に平等　It's equal in front of God.
    　聖書（キリスト教）の言う「神の前に平等」とは、「神を信じれば、誰でも（平等に）救われる」という平等である。神は「人々（信者）を分け隔てなく（平等に）扱う」と言うことである。
    The Holy Bible (christianity) says, "it's equal in front of God" is the equality to which "When believing a god, everyone is rescued equally."
    　巷間で話題に上っている、いわゆる「人は皆、生まれつき平等である」とは全く異なる。
    It so-called; when "all the people are equal by nature," is totally different.

    　さて、キリスト教では、「人間一人一人が神の似姿（imago Dei） として造られ、一人一人が神に繋がる」と教えるので、本質的に「人格」は平等であるとの考え方もある。
    Now, "each individual is made as simulacra (imago Dei) of a god, and an individual gets in touch with a god" for Christian telling. Essentially, there is also a way of thinking with which the "character" of the people is equal.

    　ところで、聖書の起源 カインの罪を紹介する。
    By the way "Biblical origin Cain's crime" is introduced.
    　子供達は成長し、兄のカインは土を耕す者、つまり農耕者、弟のアベルは羊を飼う者、つまり牧羊者になりました。
    Children grew. Elder brother Cain was the person who cultivates earth (agriculturist), and younger brother Abel became the person (sheepherder) who keeps a sheep.
    　ある日のこと、二人の兄弟は、主なる神の前に、彼等が働いて得たそれぞれの産物を捧げるために、競い合いました。カインは、大地を耕して収穫した畑の初物を神に捧げました。アベルは、羊の初子と、よく肥えた羊とを神に捧げました。神は、アベルの供えた捧げ物だけに心を留められました（神は、えこひいきした）。
    One day they committed two brothers to God and competed to give each product which they got. Cain gave the firstling of the field which he plowed the earth and harvested to God. Abel gave the sheep which got fat with Hatsuko of the sheep well to God. As for God, a mind was left only in the offering which Abel offered (God played favorites.)
    　一方、「聖書 箴言 22-2」には、「富める者と貧しい者とは共に世におる。全てこれを造られたのは主（神）である。」と記述されている。
    On the other hand, in the Holy Bible Proverb 22-2, "a rich person and a poor person are here in a world together. God made all these."

    　そうしますと、「人々の根源である本性はバラバラだが、願いや行いは平等に評価する」と言うことになる。
    Then "the true character that is the root of people is inconsistent, but, as for it, a wish and the act evaluate it equally."

  • 仏教の平等　Equality of the Buddhism.
    　仏教は元々、出家者と在家者とを区別することで成立する宗教である。そこには、「悟れる者」と「悟らざる者」の絶対的差別があることを前提とする。
    Originally the Buddhism is religion to distinguish "people" from "a person of priest". There is the absolute discrimination of "the person who can realize it" and "the person who do not realize it" there.
    【「例えば」の想い】

    　平等は「方便」であるとされる。仏教での平等とは、悟りの境地における「平等感覚」のことである。それは、日常の煩悩の境地における「平等感覚」ではないとされる。
    It is said that the equality "is a means". The equality in the Buddhism "is the sense of democracy" in the state of the realization. It is said that it "is not a sense of democracy" in the states of everyday worldly desires.
    　現在では、信徒は、死をもって成仏すると考えている。すべからく信徒は、死ぬことで「平等感覚」を完成するのであろう。
    The believer thinks that enters Nirvana with death now. The believer will finish "the sense of democracy" by all means by dying.

  • 儒教の平等　Equality of Confucianism.
    　儒教とは最初から差別を含んだものであり、皆が平等であるという思想ではない。
    Confucianism is the one which included discrimination from the beginning, not the thought with which everyone is equal.

  • 機会均等　Equal opportunity
    　森羅万象、私共は、すべからく「機会均等」を旨としたい。
    All things in nature. We want to make it a principle to do "equality of opportunity" by all means.［守］
