- 解釈：他人は知らないからと不正を働いても、天地の神々が知っている。自分自身も知っているし、不正の相手も知っている。悪事は必ず露頭するものだという戒め。昔中国で、中央政府の要人である楊震（ようしん）に地方役人が賄賂（わいろ）を贈ろうとしたとき、楊震がそれを断って言った言葉から。「四知」ともいう。
