- 解釈：功名を立てる機会がなくて残念に思うこと。何か一仕事をしたくて腕が鳴るというようなときに、「脾肉の嘆を託（かこ）つ」という。中国の三国時代、蜀（しょく）の劉備（りゅうび）が長い間馬に乗らなかったので、股（もも）に肉が付いたのを嘆いた故事による。
