◆因果応報 Inga-ouhou.
- 解釈：よい行いをした者にはよい報いが、悪い行いをした者には悪い報いがある。行いの善悪に応じて、その報いがあるということ。過去及び前世の因縁に応じて、幸不幸の果報があるの意。日頃、心して行動することの必要性をいう。
- Literal：The act of a former incarnation or the past good and evil should become a cause, and the result of good and evil should be brought about as the reward at the present.
- Interpretation：Retribution. Karma. The person who does a good act obtains a good repaying. The person who does a bad act obtains a bad repaying.
- 類義：悪因悪果。善因善果。
